If you take a look through our about us pages, you’ll see that Yoti is a company on a mission. We’re built on principles of transparency and trust and want to help people use our technology to make it quicker, easier and safer for people to prove who they are and know who they’re dealing with.

We’re a team of 160 people (including 100 developers) that have been creating Yoti for the past three years and we believe we’re ready. We know there’s a way to go before everyone has a Yoti, but we want to be the world’s trusted identity platform.

Yoti is a business, but we believe Yoti can be a force for good and the Fightback is our chance for the team to say why we’re here and what we want Yoti to do, what we’re fighting for…

Some of us are parents that are worried about the content our children can access and the people they meet on the internet. Some are security experts that want to make it safer for us to share personal data. Others are just good at losing things and like the idea of being able to leave important documents like a passport or driving licence safely at home.

What unites us all is a want to help people everywhere take back control of their identities. But how do you start to tell the world about what we want to do? We think this is a good place to start and we’d love to know if you agree. This is the identity fightback…

The way we prove who we are is outdated. Too much paper. Too much data. Fraud. Fakes. Leaks. The list goes on and on…

Our reliance on paper IDs to complete simple tasks and enjoy ourselves in a world driven by digital connections, well, it #DoesntMakeSense. It’s also #NotRight that the systems and tools we use to make life easier, are easily misused by people with the wrong intentions.

We think, read and talk about them, but there’s nothing we can really do about it, right? Well… we believe we’ve created a solution to stop the things that don’t make any sense and tackle the issues that we all know aren’t right.

Over the next few weeks, the Yoti team are going to start sharing our thoughts & feelings about the current identity system. We’re starting the fight back against fraudsters, catfishing & the lack of control we have over our own data.

Join the fight & share your personal #NotRight & #DoesntMakeSense moments with us on Social Media. We’ll be re-posting our favourites so get involved! #TheFightBack
