Node.js Workshop at Yoti

Last week we hosted a meetup for the Node Workshop group, who get together about once a month to go through various Web and Node.js topics. Having recently moved to a great spacious office, we are always happy to host meetups like this here. It’s a great way to engage with the technology community and discuss topics many of our developers are passionate about.

The meetup started with a talk by our very own Joe Clarke and Vasile who gave a presentation about the Yoti product and a demo of our SDK.

Other speakers included Daryn, who spoke about Vue.js and Alex who gave an introduction to GraphQL. Alex is a full stack JavaScript developer who specialises in creating web applications with React, Node.js and GraphQL, and CTO and co-founder of DrumRoll HQ which teaches children aged 8+ to code.

Keeping with the tradition of every good meetup, there was plenty of delicious pizza and beer - provided by Tank and Paddle and Toast.

We have a great office space, complete with a ping pong and football table, so if you’re interested in hosting an event at our office then please get in touch.
