One of our seven key principles is making sure we’re available to everyone. One way we do this is by meeting the WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) AA level standards.
WCAG serves as the main international standards organisation for internet accessibility, primarily for people with disabilities or people who use assistive technology. It also ensures that web content is more assistive to users in general.
The main guidelines of WCAG are organised under four principles. Content must be perceivable, operable, understandable and robust.
We maintain a minimum of WCAG AA level standards, which ensures that our content is compatible with most assistive technology. This relates to the colour contrasts and text sizes in our app. Our inbuilt smartphone screen readers also work with the app text to improve our user experience.
At Yoti, we put our community first, constantly making updates and improvements to enhance their experience in any way we can. Recently, we even adjusted the shade of blue in our brand guidelines to align with the WCAG guidelines.
